Great Bright Light
Great Bright Light is the healing and advocacy practice of artist, Reiki practitioner, curator, and arts advocate Monica Lynn Manoski. It cultivates a regenerative art ecosystem through energy work, curatorial guidance, and meaningful relationship-building.
Monica offers Reiki healing, artist stewardship, art advisory, and Evolve Collective, a living community for artists, all grounded in the belief that artists are our best shot at saving the planet.
OUR PROCESS
The Challenge
Monica came to me with a vision to launch her project with a visual identity + website felt cohesive and coherent – as there were many parts coming together.
The fun challenge was to take energy work out of its usual esoteric visual language and ground it in something tactile, human and poetic.
The website also needed to welcome very different people, including artists, collectors and seekers – and bring four distinct offerings together without them feeling confusing or disjointed.
Our Strategy
Starting from the seed idea “sky meets earth, and we’re in between,” we built a hand-crafted visual world.
A hand-drawn logo became the anchor for a family of line illustrations (hands, spirals, faces, starbursts) that show organic warmth. A palette inspired by rose-colored sunsets, terracotta earth, and open sky through the forest, paired with film-grain photography, grounds the brand in tactile nature.
The website gives artists, collectors, and seekers each a clear path to follow – yet one can see how these different offerings connect and belong in the same ecosystem.
Results
Great Bright Light now has a distinctive identity that sets it apart from conventional wellness and art advisory brands, and that feels true to the essence of Monica’s work.
With a clear, cohesive home for her work, Monica can confidently invite people into Reiki sessions, share her teaching of Reiki, open the door to collaborations and opportunities with artists, collectors and arts institutions.
