WEBSITE DESIGN

Golden Dome

Golden Dome is a nonprofit org dedicated to mysticism and the arts – an intersectional school committed to exploring spiritual, artistic, and communal inquiry.

Our work together served to rebuild their website into a compelling hub that attracts funding and support, as well as grow their community of students

OUR PROCESS

The Challenge

The challenge was in thinking about the different audience types the website should be designed for.

In getting specific with the goals that the website should help serve – to attract sponsorship and to engage the students of Emerald School, we were able to design a journey that helps to grow Golden Dome’s community and present itself as a compelling institution that attracts funding and support.

Our Strategy

Their previous website was challenged in presenting their body of work in a compelling way.

By using Squarespace’s native functions, we’ve created an easy to update backend archival system so that they can easily present their past and ongoing body of work that are image-forward, leveraging the strength and potency of their photography in communicating the depth of their work.

The main home page is immersive and clear that easily guides users to where they need to go. We’ve created a sub-brand space inside Golden Dome, a page dedicated to Emerald School.

Results

A website that clearly communicates the vision and purpose of Emerald’s work while presenting Golden Dome as a serious, compelling insitution worthy of funding and support and powerfully showcase their exhibitions, performances and educational programs.

A website that engages their community as a hub of inspiring education and exchange.

Already within their first month of launching, the engagement rate doubled from the same month of previous year.
